Tayside Wheelchair Football Club Awarded Lottery Funding
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that the Tayside Dynamos Powerchair Football Club has been awarded £7,000 by the National Lottery's Awards for All Scotland programme; understands that the funding was awarded to help the club grow and encourage more young disabled people involved in sport; acknowledges that a new session for people who have never played powerchair football before and are interested in joining the team has been launched, and notes that this will be held weekly at Fintry Primary School, and thanks all those involved for their efforts in running the club.
