Edinburgh Young Carers Project
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Edinburgh Young Carers Project (EYCP) on being awarded over £12,000 from the Scotch Whisky Action Fund; understands that EYCP provides person-centred, individual and group work support to young people aged 14 or under who care for a family member with alcohol addiction issues; notes that the money will help fund the employment of a professional in-house youth counsellor who will deliver a series of early intervention therapeutic group work counselling, and wishes EYCP and all involved with it well.
