Working4U's Youth Programmes
The motion
That the Parliament commends Working4U on its programmes that are designed to support the development and accomplishments of young people in West Dunbartonshire; recognises that Working4U is a service that seeks to address the underlying causes of poverty by tackling unemployment, providing opportunities to increase education, skills, confidence and personal development and supporting financial advice services; understands that it has developed programmes specifically designed to provide its service users with the opportunities to develop their skills and self-esteem, increase their motivation and engagement in learning and earn accreditation for these achievements; believes that providing young people with these skills will assist them in being better able to transition into the work force in the future, and sends its best wishes to all involved with Working4U.
