The Bonnie Badger Hotel, New Business of the Year Award Winner
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates The Bonnie Badger Hotel, which is in Gullane, on winning the New Business of the Year Award at the Midlothian and East Lothian Chamber of Commerce Business Awards; understands that the hotel was redeveloped from the Old Golf Inn by celebrity chef Tom Kitchin and his wife, Michaela, in 2018 and now features a pub, restaurant, rooms and a garden; notes that the hotel's restaurant, The Stables, follows Tom’s “Nature to Plate” philosophy and features updated pub classics made using local produce; commends Tom and Michaela for their hard work in opening the hotel, and wishes them all the best.
