Jack and Ivy, Employer of the Year Award Winner
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Dunbar-based hairdressing salon, Jack and Ivy, on winning the Employer of the Year Award at the Midlothian and East Lothian Chamber of Commerce Business Awards; understands that the salon won the award due to its commitment to employee wellbeing and progression; notes that it provides a clear progression path for employees and facilitates professional in-house training as well as external education from L’Oréal and the Vidal Sassoon Academy; commends Jack and Ivy for its commitment to staff progression and training, and wishes the salon all the best for the future.
