Nurse Award for Alison Irvine from NHS Shetland
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Alison Irvine on winning the Nurse Award at the Scottish Health Awards 2019; understands that Alison, who has worked as the diabetes specialist nurse for NHS Shetland for almost 10 years, was recognised for her work in supporting people with the condition by helping them to manage it and to live healthy lives; pays tribute to the work that she has done to ensure that more people receive their treatment in Shetland; considers the award thoroughly deserved, and wishes Alison all the best.
