Michael Wiseman from Alloa Double Gold at Taekwon-Do Championships
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Michael Wiseman, who is from Alloa, on his success at the International Taekwon-Do Federation World Championships, which were held in Wishaw on 1 November 2019; understands that Michael won the veterans' black belt division, which is for over 35s, and the pattern division, and that, as a result of these two golds, he was named the overall male veteran black belt champion; notes that more than 600 competitors from 32 countries took part in the three-day event, and wishes Michael, who has been practicing and teaching the sport for more than 20 years, including at the UK Taekwon-Do Council centre in Alloa, all the very best in his endeavours.
