Report Praises Aberdeenshire’s Adoption Service
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the praise given to Aberdeenshire Council’s adoption service in a Care Inspectorate report, which ranked the service as “very good” for its leadership and quality of care for the children, stating that the children’s “journey to adoption had been efficient and skilfully carried out by experienced and knowledgeable staff”; understands that the head of children’s services for the centre, Leigh Jolly, agreed with the findings and stated that it is a “testament to the commitment of our social workers”, and wishes everyone involved further success.
