Jordan Fairlamb, Apprenticeship Awards Winner
The motion
That the Parliament recalls motion S5M-19687 in the name of Richard Lyle, which congratulated Jordan Fairlamb, who works for Dawnfresh Seafoods, Bothwell Industrial Park in the Uddingston and Bellshill constituency, on being announced as a finalist in the Modern Apprentice (SCQF Level 6+) of the Year category at the 18th Scottish Apprenticeship Awards; welcomes the news that Jordan has not only been announced as the winner in this category but has also been named as Scotland’s Apprentice of the Year 2019 at the annual awards ceremony, which was held in the Caird Hall in Dundee on 7 November 2019; notes that these awards recognise the incredible amount of hard work that Jordan has put into his apprenticeship and the contribution he has made to Dawnfresh, and believes that this event continues to provide an important opportunity to recognise the significant and important contribution that apprentices make to Scotland’s communities and economy.
