The motion
That the Parliament notes the recent success of the Aberdour Puppy Power event hosted by the Guide Dogs West Fife Fundraising group; welcomes the £1,010 collected through terrific donations by local small businesses and the tireless work of local puppy-walkers Dot Gourlay, Susan Deacon, Fiona Johnston and Connie McBride in organising the event; notes how these funds will help in training these service dogs; understands the positive impact that these guide dogs can have on the everyday safety and well-being of people who require their assistance, and wishes Guide Dogs UK continued and future success in providing disabled people with a meaningful and essential companion.
