Gordon Gibb Recognised for Contribution to Education and Training at SQA Awards
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Gordon Gibb, director of the Oldmeldrum-based company, Polaris Learning Ltd, on being recognised for his contribution to education and training at the Scottish Qualifications Authority (SQA) Star Awards; recognises that Gordon was highly commended in the SQA Champion category, in acknowledgement of his involvement in supporting the development of Scotland’s food and drink sector using SQA qualifications; notes that since 2010 Polaris has taken on five modern apprentices and that the team has certified thousands of food and drink SVQs; commends Gordon on this recognition, and wishes him and Polaris well.
