Kirkintilloch Pub Named Scotland’s Most Dog-friendly
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Kirkintilloch pub, The Stables, on being the Scottish winner of the annual Rover Dog-Friendly Pub Awards; notes that the awards involved a contest, which included a public vote, against 70 other pubs in Scotland; understands that The Stables goes out of its way to accommodate the four-legged companions of their patrons by providing treats, water bowls, canine-friendly events and even a dog beer; acknowledges that the pub welcomes a high number of people out enjoying a walk along the canal with their dogs, and commends The Stables on its national recognition as a result of its "paw-friendly" measures and consideration for animal welfare.
