Crossgates Primary School Pupil Named Community First Aid Champion 2019
The motion
That the Parliament notes the Scottish First Aid Awards, which were held on 15 November 2019 in Glasgow; further notes the success of the Crossgates Primary School pupil, Alfie Thomson, who was unanimously named Community First Aid Champion 2019; applauds Alfie on his efforts in learning about CPR through a Junior First Aid Course and also qualifying as a Junior Lifeguard; understands that Alfie has taught around 100 other pupils how to do CPR, planning his lessons and sourcing dummies in his own time; further understands that he wants to be a paramedic when he is older; commends the way Alfie has learned proactively and willingly shared his skills with others, and believes that he has a bright future ahead of him.
