West Lothian Friends of Chernobyl Children Return from Belarus
The motion
That the Parliament commends the work of the West Lothian branch of Friends of Chernobyl Children, which has just returned from a nine-day visit to Belarus where they group visited children affected by the legacy of the Chernobyl nuclear disaster; understands that the group continues to build longstanding friendships and make new connections with children coming to stay in and experience West Lothian and Scotland, and believes that this is a positive initiative to build links between West Lothian and Belarus.
