Clydebank Dental Practice Teams Up with Local Firefighters to Raise Funds for Charity

The motion

That the Parliament acknowledges the workers from Clyde Dental Practice and Clydebank-based firefighters who teamed up to raise funds for a cancer charity; understands that the team washed around 220 local cars raising £1,569 for Mouth Cancer Awareness Month as well as for the UK Firefighters Charity, which supports firefighters who have been injured or are in need of psychological support; notes the importance of early diagnosis of mouth cancer in saving lives, and thanks everyone who gave their time and effort to raise funds for these worthwhile causes.
