LEAP is Herald Society's Older People's Project of the Year 2019
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the LEAP Project on receiving the Older People's Project of the Year award on behalf of the Herald Society; recognises the valuable service and support that the project offers older people in the community, including leisure, learning and arts opportunities, acknowledges the hard work of both staff and volunteers who are involved in the project; recognises that the Chair of LEAP, Gilbert Feron, who was a runner-up for the Unsung Hero award, and wishes the project and its workers all the best in their future endeavours in the Cambuslang and Rutherglen community.
