Awards for West College Scotland
The motion
That the Parliament highly commends the achievements of West College Scotland for receiving two awards at 2019 College Development Network Awards for its PROSPER initiative, engaging students in a variety of cross campus activities, including free mental health awareness training, workshops on healthy eating and exercise, and lunchtime yoga classes; notes its achievements in hair and beauty, working with SCVLPTVR Skills Academy in Glasgow’s west end, which takes teaching into the salon, helps students gain work experience in setting prices, make contacts and experience marketing, and congratulates the staff and pupils at West College Scotland on their work and achievements.
