Town Centre Fund for Almond Valley Heritage Trust
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Almond Valley Heritage Trust on being awarded £11,340 from the Scottish Government's town centres fund; understands that the costs will go towards the costs of replacing the wooden waterwheel, repairing and renewing all other working mechanisms, as well as full refurbishment of mill interiors; acknowledges that almost £2 million has been awarded to West Lothian communities from the fund, which will go towards improving town centre environments and community centres by enhancing and improving facilities, as well as development and improving play facilities, and wishes the Trust every success for the future.
