Ellon Ice Skater Invited to International Competition in Budapest
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Holly Noble on being invited to compete in the international ice skating event, Santa Claus Cup, in Budapest, Hungary; notes that Holly is 14 years old and has been skating since she was just seven years old; notes that this is her first international appearance and will be competing against 30 other top skaters from all over Europe; understands that Holly began skating after she had a birthday party at Aberdeen Linx Ice Rink, where she loved “watching skaters doing big jumps” and wanted to do them too; notes that she will be competing from 2 to 8 December 2019 in Budapest, as well as in Sheffield in April 2020, and wishes her continued success.
