Edinburgh College's Award Success
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Edinburgh College on its recent wins at the SQA Star and College Development Network (CDN) Awards, recognises that one of its students, Dean Clark, was named college candidate of the year by the SQA and the student of the year by the CDN; acknowledges that Dean played a crucial role in creating the college’s first student-led retail space, which has also given work experience opportunities to unemployed people, and notes that the College’s Marketing team won the CDN Marketing and Communication Award for its 2018 Exam Results Day recruitment campaign.
