Asda Dalgety Bay
The motion
That the Parliament commends the two members of staff from Asda Dalgety Bay who organised a bake sale that raised £300 for Woodmill Department of Additional Support, which had been recently severely damaged by fire; understands that, in addition to this, one of their colleagues organised a Coffee Morning that raised £300 for Macmillan Cancer Support; acknowledges that, in the quarterly Green Token Giving Programme, which is voted by customers and funded by the Asda Foundation, the store donated £500 to the Inverkeithing-based amateur swimming group, InCAS, and £200 each to the Aberdour Heritage Centre and Station Gardens and the 1st Dalgety Bay Boys’ Brigade, and commends all of the staff and customers involved with this fundraising for their extremely magnanimous and benevolent work.
