Roma St Andrew's Day Celebrations in Clydebank
The motion
That the Parliament commends the Clydebank Roma group, Romane Cierhenia, on the vibrant and colourful event it staged at Clydebank Community Sports Hub to celebrate St Andrew’s Day; notes the event featured Roma cuisine and Gypsy music and dance, as well as face painting for children; recognises the importance of events such as this in stimulating and advancing social cohesion while respecting diverse cultural identities, and wishes Romane Cierhenia success in all its future cultural endeavours.
