Volunteer Award
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Macduff resident, Claire Nicholson, on being awarded the Clan Society Quaich in honour of her dedication to volunteering; notes that Claire is a charity champion and knitted more than 800 poppies in 2018; notes that she is following in her mother’s footsteps, who won the award 13 years ago; further notes that Claire also volunteers for a number of other projects such as the Blythswood Christmas Shoebox Appeal and Support Our Soldiers, and wishes Claire further success in supporting her community.
