West Lothian Good Causes Benefit from Co-op Customer Donations
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates West Lothian Action for Children, Livingston Athletic Club and Team Jak, which are all good causes based in West Lothian, on receiving support from the Big Co-op Payout; understands the Co-op is delivering £17 million to over 4,000 community groups thanks to customers using their membership cards to donate 1% of each transaction to a community cause; acknowledges that Action for Children was awarded £4,513, Team Jak, £4,641, and Livingston Athletic Club, £4,234; believes that this support will be of great benefit to children, young people and families in Livingston and throughout West Lothian, and wishes each of the groups every success.
