Morrison Community Care Group Named the World's Best
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Morrison Community Care Group on being named as the Most Outstanding Community Care Provider in the World at the 2019 Globals award ceremony in recognition of its operation of the Abbotsford House Care Home in Bearsden and Kingscare Luxury Suites in Duntocher; acknowledges that these awards are sponsored by the Over 50s Housing Publishing Group, which reviews standards and trends in housing in more than 200 countries; notes that the Care Group's managing director, Paul Sokhi, was presented with the award at a gala event in London, and commends everyone involved with this small family-owned organisation for their exemplary record in caring for older people in the community.
