Queen's Nurse Award for Steve Mullay
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Steve Mullay from Sandwick on being awarded the prestigious title of Queen’s Nurse; notes that Steve, who is a dementia clinical nurse specialist, took part in the nine-month development programme run by the Queen’s Nursing Institute Scotland after being nominated by his employers; recognises that Steve is part of an innovative nurse-led service that assesses, diagnoses and treats people with dementia and aims to keep people with the condition out of hospital; considers the award to be thoroughly deserved, and wishes Steve all the best for the future.
