Double Success for Brewster Bros
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the Livingston-based recycling plant, Brewster Bros, on winning the Business Innovation Award at the Herald Family Business Awards 2019, and Malcolm Livingstone, who is the Plant Manager at the firm, who won the inaugural Scottish Family Business Recognition Award; believes that, since opening in 2018, the company has led the way in shaping the future of the recycling industry across Scotland, with it having the largest plant of its type in the UK; acknowledges its aim to treat and recycle construction and demolition waste as a resource to help ensure zero waste goes to landfill; commends it on being shortlisted for a number of awards in 2019, and wishes it continued success.
