Law Society Boost for West Lothian Foodbank
The motion
That the Parliament commends the Law Society of Scotland for donating over £7,000 to West Lothian Foodbank; understands that staff at the Society vote for a new charity partner each year and subsequently take part in events such as the Kiltwalk and the Edinburgh Marathon to help raise fantastic amounts such as this; acknowledges that the money will be used to refurbish a new charity shop, lease a van and help with general operational costs, and believes that this will undoubtedly help the families and communities of West Lothian.
