100 Years of Bishopbriggs Boys’ Brigade
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Bishopbriggs Boys’ Brigade on celebrating its centenary recently; notes that celebrations were held at Kenmure Church and were attended by former members from all over the world, including from Germany and Dubai, as well as a Malaysian Boys’ Brigade, which was on a tour of Scotland; understands that the 182 Glasgow Boys’ Brigade Company held a second event, a Centenary Dinner, which was attended by over 100 members both past and present; acknowledges that these events provided an opportunity to reminisce on the invaluable life skills that members gained through their participation in the unit, and commends the Brigade on the enduring and invaluable community that it has fostered.
