600 Students Attend New College Lanarkshire Awards Ceremonies at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the 600 students of New College Lanarkshire who recently attended their annual awards ceremonies at the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall; notes that all attendees had recently completed studies at SCQF level 7 or above; recognises that graduands studying subjects including care and science, engineering and automotive attended, as well as those studying business and social science and sport; notes that five outstanding achievement awards were given to students who excelled in their course of study, while three students received SQA Graded Units Awards; recognises that Gemma Graham from Motherwell received The Eleanor Lafferty Award for achieving 100% in the Graded Unit exam for HND Legal Services, with Gemma now studying for a Law degree at the University of Strathclyde, and wishes all students who received awards and all students who attended well in all their future endeavours.
