Free Food at The Cabin on Christmas Day
The motion
That the Parliament recognises the generosity of the bar owner, Andrew McQuade, who will open his Dalmuir bar, The Cabin, on Christmas Day; understands that Andrew and volunteers will serve free food, tea, coffee and cakes between 12 noon and 5 pm in an effort to ensure that homeless, lonely and vulnerable people can enjoy a warm and friendly Christmas; understands that the festive period can be a challenging time for some people, and applauds this public-spirited gesture.
