Midlothian Bowlers Selected for the World Championships
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates bowling stars, Ronnie Duncan, of Bonnyrigg BC, and Stacey McDougall, from Dalkeith BC, who will represent Scotland men's and women's teams respectively at the 2020 World Bowls Championships in Australia; understands that, behind the Commonwealth Games, this is the second largest bowling event on the calendar; applauds Ronnie and Stacey on their hard work and the victories and achievements that have led to their selection, and wishes them, and their teammates, the best of luck at the championships and with their bowling careers.
