Kerrs Bakery, Motherwell, Completes the Scottish Supplier Development Academy
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Kerrs Bakery, which is in Motherwell, on completing Asda’s Scottish Supplier Development Academy 2019; understands that the Academy, which is run in partnership with Scotland Food and Drink and is supported by the Scottish Government, aims to help the country's food and drink businesses grow by providing expert advice and insight into supermarket trading disciplines; believes that Kerrs has grown into one of the main suppliers of caramel cake in Scotland, and wishes the company well for the future.
