The Radhuni Restaurant in Loanhead Helps Homeless People
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that The Radhuni restaurant in Loanhead offered lunches to 50 homeless people on New Year’s Day at the hub of the charity, Streetwork; congratulates the Indian-Bangladeshi restaurant on also recently winning the Best Restaurant in Scotland at the British Curry Awards in London; believes that no one should be without access to a warm home and a healthy meal; acknowledges the importance of those who volunteer to support people who are homeless and believes that these efforts are invaluable, and recognises the kindness of the owners and staff of The Radhuni for donating the meals and giving their time over the festive period to ensure that people who were homeless had some support.
