Windygates Teen, Layla Cooke, Helps Others Learn Sign Language
The motion
That the Parliament commends Layla Cooke, who is a teenager from Windygates, on being presented with an Outstanding Achievement Award from Enable Scotland for her work helping others learn sign language; understands that Layla uses her skills through her "BSLCooke" social media pages to teach others how to sign and gives private lessons to children; notes that Layla already has learned BSL Level 1 and is now in the process of learning Level 2, and wishes her the very best.
