Partnership Schools Scotland
The motion
The Parliament commends the initiative, Partnership Schools Scotland, which is led by Connect and supported by Skills Development Scotland; notes that it is a model of school, family and community partnerships, devised and researched by Dr Joyce Epstein and a team based at Johns Hopkins University in the United States, aimed at improving outcomes for children and young people; understands that Connect introduced this model to Scottish schools in 2015 and is currently working with 25 schools across six local authorities, and wishes them every success in their future endeavours.
