Alex Craig Called up to Six Nations Squad
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Alex Craig, who is from Stewartry, on being called up by Gregor Townsend to the Scotland squad for the Six Nations; notes that Alex, who plays for Gloucester, began his career with Stewartry RFC, and believes that this recognition will that help put the rugby scene in Galloway on the map; understands that Alex has enjoyed a meteoric rise since he was capped for Scotland U20s in 2016; recognises that his strong form for Gloucester this season has earned him the call-up; hopes that his first full cap will come during the tournament, and wishes Alex all the best with his career.
