Golf Developments in Dornoch
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes the news that a new £2.55 million campus expansion project to enhance the UHI and North Highland College’s provision of golf programmes will be constructed in Dornoch; understands that the expansion will include high-specification facilities and equipment for the golf curriculum and modern open-plan classrooms; notes that Dornoch has gained an international reputation for golf, and welcomes that the Royal Dornoch Course has been recognised as the number one course in the world in a recent poll of worldwide golfers, and notes the social and economic benefits that could come to the town and the wider county as a result of the development of the golf sector.
