Kinglassie Woman Helps Injured Australian Animals
The motion
That the Parliament commends the Kinglassie woman, Gail Cheney, who has been knitting pouches in aid of kangaroos injured in the Australian wildfires; notes that over 500 million animals have been killed in the bush fires, with thousands more being injured, and that there is a need for people to produce woolly goods for orphaned wildlife; understands that Gail has been knitting for over 40 years and has received a large number of wool donations from local Fife businesses to aid her work; thanks her for her work, and welcomes the generous donations made.
