National Lottery Funding for Pathways
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Pathways, an Aberdeen-based employment support charity, on receiving an £86,415 grant from the National Lottery; understands that Pathways will use the funding to continue its invaluable counselling service for women affected by domestic abuse across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire for the next three years; recognises that Pathways anticipate that it will help approximately 275 women during that period, and that the funding will also enable Pathways to make its service more accessible beyond referrals from Grampian Women’s Aid; commends Malcolm Pritchard, the manager, and his team, for making a difference to the lives of women affected by domestic abuse, and wishes all involved at Pathways, and its service users, every success in the future.
