Stornoway RNLI
The motion
That the Parliament commends the courageous work of the members of the Stornoway RNLI team who saved two lives during a mayday call-out in November 2018; notes that the rescue was made in rough seas in a 60-70mph wind in the confined operational area of Bàgh Leumrabhaigh; reiterates the words of thanks offered by the Council of the RNLI, and recognises the vital service that the RNLI and its lifeboats provide in coastal areas such as Na h-Eileanan an Iar.
