Motion · S5M-20507 · 17 Jan 2020
Turn Blue Monday into Brew Monday at Kirkcaldy Railway Station
The motion
That the Parliament understands that 20 January 2020 is widely considered to be the most depressing day of the year; notes that, in a joint initiative, representatives from British Transport Police and the Samaritans will be at Kirkcaldy Railway Station on that day; understands that passengers and commuters will have the opportunity to have a cup of tea and a chat; notes that this is the first time that the Brew Monday initiative has been held in the area, and welcomes the efforts of both British Transport Police and the Samaritans on this issue.
