Big Energy Saving Week
The motion
That the Parliament welcomes Big Energy Saving Week being run by Citizens Advice Scotland in partnership with Home Energy Scotland between 20 and 26 January 2020; commends the charity for helping people who sought advice on energy-related issues to save an average of £232 on their energy bills last year; notes the energy challenges that communities face across Scotland; welcomes the charity targeting four key groups of people as part of the campaign, those who use electric heating, those in debt to their fuel suppliers, those who are digitally excluded and those whose homes are hard to heat, and encourages people to visit their local Citizens Advice Bureau for specialist advice on how to save money on their energy bills.
