David Chappell's Golden Globes Debut
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates 25-year-old David Chappell from Buckie on his breakthrough track, Dreaming Awake, which was featured as the soundtrack to an honorary montage of Tom Hank’s films at the Golden Globes 2020; understands that David has been composing music from his home in the north east since beginning to learn piano at the age of seven; notes that his music has also been featured in computer games by the Moray-based company, Hunted Cow Studios, and that he currently has his sights set on featuring his work in movie trailers; commends David for his creativity, perseverance and vision, and wishes him the best of luck and continuing success on his journey as an artist.
