The motion

That the Parliament recognises Gordon Adamson, a specialist clinical pharmacist at the Golden Jubilee National Hospital in Clydebank, who spent his sixth Christmas Day in a row helping to feed, entertain and provide company to vulnerable and homeless people across West Dunbartonshire; understands that Gordon, who is 32, and his parents, collect and distribute donated toys and help serve food to people using the Food For Thought service, ably led by Ghislaine Maclean Kennedy, while also acting as volunteer drivers, which means that they do not sit down for their own Christmas dinner until Boxing Day or later, and commends the commitment of Gordon, who is from Erskine, to helping others, as well as his consistent voluntary efforts to help disadvantaged members of the public at an important time of the year.
