Bravehound Charity Donation
The motion
That the Parliament commends Barratt Homes, which recently donated £1,000 to Bravehound, a charity based in Lennoxtown, as part of the company's Community Fund programme; acknowledges that Bravehound provides companion dogs to military veterans across Scotland to assist with their transition back to civilian life; understands that the provision of a companion dog can increase the confidence of military veterans; notes that Bravehound offers training sessions for veterans and dogs to undertake together, and, in addition, offers support to cover the cost of veterinary bills, feeding and equipment, and understands that this welcome donation will be allocated to these costs.
