Aim to Secure a Defibrillator at Alloa Older People's Welfare Club
The motion
That the Parliament is encouraged by the news of a wish to secure the supply and installation of a defibrillator at the Alloa Older People's Welfare Club; understands that the organisers are seeking to procure an automated external defibrillator (AED) to be located on an external wall of the Paton Court venue, which would be available to the public by way of a 999 call in the case of cardiac arrest emergencies close by; congratulates the Alloa & Hillfoots Advertiser, which has shown its support for local campaigners looking to establish a Clackmannanshire AED network, and commends those trustees of the hall who are encouraging others interested in a fundraising drive for this purpose.
