Fruit Friday at Kilninver Primary School
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates the pupils and staff Kilninver Primary School in Argyll and Bute on introducing Fruit Friday, when any fresh fruit and vegetables that are left over from the week are prepared and shared out among the pupils; commends this initiative, which encourages healthy eating habits, reduces food waste and raises awareness of SHANARRI (safe, healthy, active, nurtured, achieving, respected, responsible and included) wellbeing indicators, and wishes everyone involved many healthy and tasty Friday lunchtimes to come.
