Congratulations to the Fife Self-Harm Project
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Penumbra’s Self-Harm Project on receiving money from the National Lottery Community Fund; commends the project's self-harm support services for people across Fife, including in Kirkcaldy, since 2005; understands that it is one of Scotland’s leading mental health charities, working with partners across 17 local authority areas to provide mental health support to people aged 18 and over; further understands that the National Lottery recognises projects that are helping tackle issues affecting communities; notes that Penumbra supports approximately 1,800 people each week across Scotland; praises the staff at the project for their zealous efforts in guiding people through their issues with their mental health, and wishes them the very best for the future.
