Ashley Ann Ltd Invests in Caithness
The motion
That the Parliament congratulates Ashley Ann Ltd on securing up to £400,000 from Highlands and Islands Enterprise; recognises that Ashley Ann Ltd has been a major employer in Caithness for nearly 30 years and that this investment will result in a further 40 jobs being created, and acknowledges that the manufacturing industry offers high-quality, skilled jobs, particularly in rural areas, which encourages people to live and work in communities such as those across Caithness, Sutherland and Ross.
